Teschner Products

Since starting in Byron Bay in 1990, Teschner designed & built bicycle frames that have been recognised globally for their superior innovation, build and performance qualities.

Teschner is acknowledged for creating the finest quality in a range of materials including aluminium, titanium, scandium / alloy blends and more recently, full carbon composite.

Regarded as a 'Master Craftsman' by his peers, Teschner built bikes are the number 1 choice by many of the World's leading professional triathletes, time-trialists, track and road riders.

Whilst recognising the need to meet market expectations with a limited range of full carbon bikes, Teschner's unwavering commitment remains:

"To create, craft and provide distinctive, hand-built, tailored performance racing cycle frames and bikes for discerning cyclists".

Peter Teschner has been hard at work with his company for some time, and while Teschner bikes are huge in Australia, they are just starting to gain a foothold elsewhere. This may be due to the fact that Peter takes so much pride in his product that he offers what seems to be the best crash replacement policy in the industry. Crash your bike bad enough to ruin it before 3 years after the original purchase, and you get a replacement frame and fork for only 50% of the total cost. Did I mention that racing doesn't void the policy?

The frames look great and have some pretty solid numbers and performances to back them up.

If you live outside Australia, you may not have heard about Peter Teschner, but Down Under he is a formidable presence on the local cycling scene. Although frames with his name on them have only been around for a decade or so, Teschner's bikes have won numerous national championships and have been ridden by many Aussie riders who have competed on the world stage.

Teschner is well known in Australia, but his frames have done well in international competition as well.

From 2000 to 2003, all of the "Team Issue" Fuji frames used by the Mercury Pro Road Team were built by Teschner.

In Australia, Teschner has been closely involved with the Australian Institute of Sport for both their Track and for the Women's Road Programme, building the women's TT frames for the past 5 years. This involvement has seen Teschner secure the Australian National Women's TT Championship Title for the last 5 years in a row. Peter's frames have gained the first 5 placings for 4 years and the top 3 the 5th year. In 2003, Teschner also picked up the 1st and 2nd in the Men's National TT Championship
